UNAM VISUALIZATION LABORATORY

Juan Sebastian López Michelone will present the activities and work developed
in this important laboratory for scientific visualization and animations. The laboratory
was created four years ago, and it relies on a lot of equipment which includes a
Silicon Graphics Onyx with a Reality Engine. The need for a laboratory of its kind in
the UNAM (National Autonoumus University of Mexico) is clear since a lot of simulations
and calculations are done in their Cray YMP.
